S-unno

In today's digital world, making phone calls is not only limited to having a regular fixed phone or mobile phone. Now you can make calls using your computer and a pair of speakers. Even though there are numerous applications on the market which offer Voice IP functionality, only some of them really work and are simple enough to be used by the average user.

Take S-unno, for example. It's a Windows application which allows you to easily make phone calls to any regular phone line and also chat to your online buddies who use the application. After installing it, the user will be first taken through a wizard which allows configuring audio settings for the application. After selecting the desired playback and recording device, the actual interface of S-unno will be displayed.

At this point, the user will need to create an account on the program's website. This operation is intuitive and takes little time to be completed. After creating the account and logging in, the user will only need to type the number of the person he would like to call. For making it easier to call the same people, S-unno allows adding them to an address book and just typing their name instead of their number when calling them.

Besides calling to regular phone lines, S-unno also allows communicating using voice and text with other users of the application, turning S-unno into a fully-featured instant messaging application. Besides that, it can connect with other instant messaging services, like Facebook or Yahoo Messenger, allowing you to communicate with your buddies from other networks just like they were using S-unno.

What's more, users can send SMS messages to other users and can view sent and received messages in the same manner as using an email client.
